Great for training workshops. I like having both the white board AND the ability to hold a flip chart firmly. A tad bit "wobbly" but not too bad. Great product for the price!

We use this easel for classroom presentations, and generally use the convenient clip to attach large easel pads. It is lightweight yet sturdy (once you stabilize the legs! it takes 2 people, one holding the easel body up and the other pulling down all 4 legs, to get all to be the same length).

I am a professional corporate trainer and management consultant and have been used to using flipcharts (and pads) for training in hotel venues. Recently I had to run a training workshop for the church and after much research and search found this item on EaselSource.com. The easel fits the bill perfectly, I used it alongside the LCD laptop projector, and am very happy with the quality and sturdiness. At this price, this item is a bargain - you probably won't find a better deal out there on the web. Would highly recommend this easel to anyone looking for a durable, quality easel for flipcharting or just as a mini-whiteboard. Go for the four-leg option with magnetic board as the four-leg ensures steadiness when using it and the magnetic board maximized the potential use of this. Blessings[...]

Slightly hard to adjust with just one person. If you you are in a hurry and need to change the configuration of the easel, you may be in a little trouble if you are alone. It works great for what I need it for... ie. Meeting in progress, No food or Drink allowed in Auditorium, etc.

Q1: Can both versions be used as a table top easel?
A: Yes! The legs can be shortened for tabletop use.
Q2: Is there a tray for markers?
A: Yes! The metal lip at the bottom of a tray designed to hold markers, etc.
